I have found a difference in the way a lable displays when using the single quotes as opposed to double quotes aroung text. Is this a known issue or maybe I am not following the proper formating?

Here is an example of the single which works properly:

$frmTRPForm = CreateObject("Kixtart.Form")
$frmTRPForm.FontName = "Tahoma"
$frmTRPForm.FontSize = 10
$frmTRPForm.Caption = "T. Rowe Price Logon Script"
$frmTRPForm.Width = 520
$frmTRPForm.Height = 440
$frmTRPForm.SysMenu = 0
$frmTRPForm.BackColor = $frmTRPForm.RGB(0,255,255)
$frmTRPForm.Center
$frmTRPForm.Show
$full="Full Name:"
$fraTRPFrame = $frmTRPForm.Frame("T. Rowe Price Logon Script (KiXtart v" + @KIX + ")", 6,84,502,144)
$imgLucky = $frmTRPForm.Image(@LSERVER + "\NETLOGON\lucky40.bmp", 7,9,160,68)
$gaDateDisplay = Split(@DATE, "/")
$gsShowDay = $gaDateDisplay[2]
$lblDate = $frmTRPForm.Label(@DAY + " " + @MONTH + " " + $gsShowDay + ", " + @YEAR + " " + @TIME, 280,35,200,20)
$lblName1 = $frmTRPForm.Label('Full Name:', 14,105,0,20)
$lblName2 = $frmTRPForm.Label(@FULLNAME,115,105,180,20)
$lblUserId1 = $frmTRPForm.Label('User ID:', 300,105,0,20)
$lblUserId2 = $frmTRPForm.Label(@USERID, 404,105,100,20)
$lblPC1 = $frmTRPForm.Label('Workstation:', 14,125,0,20)
$lblPC2 = $frmTRPForm.Label(@WKSTA, 115,125,100,20)
$lblIP1 = $frmTRPForm.Label('IP Address:', 300,125,0,20)
$lblIP2 = $frmTRPForm.Label($gsIpAddress, 404,125,90,20)
$lblHomeShr1 = $frmTRPForm.Label('Home Folder:', 14,145,0,20)
$lblHomeShr2 = $frmTRPForm.Label(@HOMESHR, 115,145,180,20)
$lblHomeDr1 = $frmTRPForm.Label('My Documents:', 300,145,0,20)
$lblHomeDr2 = $frmTRPForm.Label(@HOMEDRIVE + '\', 404,145,20,20)
$lblDom1 = $frmTRPForm.Label('Domain:', 14,165,0,20)
$lblDom2 = $frmTRPForm.Label(@DOMAIN, 115,165,91,20)
$lblLogSvr1 = $frmTRPForm.Label('Logon Server:', 300,165,0,20)
$lblLogSvr2 = $frmTRPForm.Label(@LSERVER, 404,165,91,20)
$lblAccess1 = $frmTRPForm.Label('Access:', 14,185,0,20)
$lblAccess2 = $frmTRPForm.Label($gsAccessMethod, 115,185,91,20)
$lblOs1 = $frmTRPForm.Label('Platform:', 14,205,0,20)
$lblOs2 = $frmTRPForm.Label(@PRODUCTTYPE + ' v' + @DOS +', ' + @CSD, 115,205,268,20)
$fraTRPFrame = $frmTRPForm.Frame('T. Rowe Price Logon Script (KiXtart v' + @KIX + ')', 6,84,502,144)

Here is an example of the double quote that overlays the frame and some of the data:

$frmTRPForm = CreateObject("Kixtart.Form")
$frmTRPForm.FontName = "Tahoma"
$frmTRPForm.FontSize = 10
$frmTRPForm.Caption = "T. Rowe Price Logon Script"
$frmTRPForm.Width = 520
$frmTRPForm.Height = 440
$frmTRPForm.SysMenu = 0
$frmTRPForm.BackColor = $frmTRPForm.RGB(0,255,255)
$frmTRPForm.Center
$frmTRPForm.Show

$fraTRPFrame = $frmTRPForm.Frame("T. Rowe Price Logon Script (KiXtart v" + @KIX + ")", 6,84,502,144)
$imgLucky = $frmTRPForm.Image(@LSERVER + "\NETLOGON\lucky40.bmp", 7,9,160,68)
$gaDateDisplay = Split(@DATE, "/")
$gsShowDay = $gaDateDisplay[2]
$lblDate = $frmTRPForm.Label(@DAY + " " + @MONTH + " " + $gsShowDay + ", " + @YEAR + " " + @TIME, 280,35,200,20)
$lblName1 = $frmTRPForm.Label("Full Name:", 14,105,62,20)
$lblName2 = $frmTRPForm.Label(@FULLNAME,110,105,180,20)
$lblUserId1 = $frmTRPForm.Label("User ID:", 300,105,56,20)
$lblUserId2 = $frmTRPForm.Label(@USERID, 404,105,100,20)
$lblPC1 = $frmTRPForm.Label("Workstation:", 14,125,71,20)
$lblPC2 = $frmTRPForm.Label(@WKSTA, 110,125,100,20)
$lblIP1 = $frmTRPForm.Label("IP Address:", 300,125,68,20)
$lblIP2 = $frmTRPForm.Label($gsIpAddress, 404,125,90,20)
$lblHomeShr1 = $frmTRPForm.Label("Home Folder:", 14,145,78,20)
$lblHomeShr2 = $frmTRPForm.Label(@HOMESHR, 110,145,180,20)
$lblHomeDr1 = $frmTRPForm.Label("My Documents:", 300,145,88,20)
$lblHomeDr2 = $frmTRPForm.Label(@HOMEDRIVE + "\", 404,145,20,20)
$lblDom1 = $frmTRPForm.Label("Domain:", 14,165,46,20)
$lblDom2 = $frmTRPForm.Label(@DOMAIN, 110,165,91,20)
$lblLogSvr1 = $frmTRPForm.Label("Logon Server:", 300,165,82,20)
$lblLogSvr2 = $frmTRPForm.Label(@LSERVER, 404,165,91,20)
$lblAccess1 = $frmTRPForm.Label("Access:", 14,185,44,20)
$lblAccess2 = $frmTRPForm.Label($gsAccessMethod, 110,185,91,20)
$lblOs1 = $frmTRPForm.Label("Platform:", 14,205,51,20)
$lblOs2 = $frmTRPForm.Label(@PRODUCTTYPE + " v" + @DOS +", " + @CSD, 110,205,268,20)

Code put in code tags will make the post much easier to deal with.

That said, I took your first script and changed the single quotes to double quotes and the output was identical. Your second script is different from your first one in terms of sizing of the controls which will affect the presentation.

The use of either single or double quotes will not affect the way a label is being displayed. However, it is recommended to standardize on single quotes as string delimiters.
