I was just revamping the Kixforms documentation, making it more dotnet like etc and realized I made a "huge" mistake with the ListView object, the following method:

ListView.SelectedItems.Clear()

Should just simply de-select all the currently selected items - right now, Kixforms REMOVES all the selected items - eek. Not sure how to deal this one out because if I "fix" this, would probably break a few scripts.

DOH!
bummer... you know you have to do the right thing. All I can suggest is bold text in the liner notes.

Just make sure when you post the fix, that you tell what .Clear does in the new fix and tell how to remove objects in mass the "correct" way.

I agree with Les. TBH it wouldn't be too hard to change, even in very large scripts ... that's what Find & Replace was invented for Wink

Rod.

Here is one person who used it to delete, because it did what I wanted. That is why I said just tell me the correct method to use. I don't care if it is changed as long as I know it has been changed.

ja, I used it often too. The "correct" way should be:

Code:

for each $item in $listview.selecteditems

 $item.remove()

next

I thought about that, but I was hoping there was going to be a KF method.
