Hi,
is it possible to implement the dateselector (like in Outlook and other applications) in a future release of KiXforms?

IIRC, the Calendar Control OCX itself is not available as a COM object. However, I'm sure there's a way to integrate some kind of Calendar object inside KiXForms.

I had the same thought surveyor and deffinetly has to be an external object...dont know how but once found lots of us will take very good use of it. Its good to bring up the topic.

if ocx is not bindable with kix-script, isn't it workable with dll either?

IIRC, one has to create a COM-wrapper for the Calendar Control in order to be able to interact with it. I think we've talked about this earlier somewhere on KORG, and I believe I've also seen something on the web.

It would be really nice to have the calendar control. Glenn could then beef up his Task Scheduler interface.

Is the Calendar Control on the to-do list or is it a super secret undocumented alpha/beta/dev thingy?

no big secret - i put a calendar control in, but was having some problem with dates, and kixtart. Can't remember now what the problem was. Something about kixtart's lack of robust date handling.

Do you have a snippet of code to demo or is this still pretty much vapourware? Would this return CTime or what?
