Just published the latest version of PostPrep over at KORG. I'm using a RichTextBox.HTML reference, feeding it the HTML that was generated.

I can confirm that all HTML is generated properly, but when it is placed into the RichTextBox, only a portion of it appears. Small conversions work fine, but large - 200K source generating 600K HTML come up horribly short.

I don't see a size limit documented anywhere for the RichTextBox, and have no problem placing the source (200K) and HTML (600K) into regular TextBox objects. PostPrep uses pretty basic HTML, except that the entire thing is in a one-cell table, and it uses a FieldSet tag - neither of which the RichTextBox supports, but I assume it was simply ignored since most of the features do work.

Any thoughts? I'm trying to avoid having to pop-up an IE window if I can help it.

Thanks,

Glenn

Glenn,

The Windows RichTextBox doesn't natively support HTML - I added that as a a special custom jobby (it basically takes the HTML and converts it into RTF format) ... having said that, there may be an issue with size (I didn't stress test it with size) ...

Let me have a lookie over the weekend.

You can grab the latest PostPrep from KORG's advanced topics forum to see the code and exactly what's happening.

With a small tweak to the Kix2HTM UDF, I could strip off the two unsupported tags - table & fieldset - everything else is just basic bold or color tags.

Thanks,

Glenn

I checked, and the "offensive" table and fieldset tags are in the first 3 lines, which were already excluded when I populated the richtextbox (as were the last two lines, which closed these tags).
