I guess .AllowColumnReorder was not introduced in recent build and this may be why the sorting was whacked.

I tried to be careful with the existing listview features (sorting) when I added the new stuff. Lets take this one step at a time ...

First, the Sorting property doesn't take a boolean (TRUE/FALSE) it takes a SortOrder enum value ...

SortOrder_Ascending 1
SortOrder_Descending 2
SortOrder_None 0

Where does that leave us ?

Plus pearly, do you have a little test script we can use or was this part of a much larger script ?

Ahh, so by luck, I was using SortOrder_Ascending when I set it to $TRUE (which is a 'constant' in my app for 1).

Let me whip up a sample app.

Brb.

arrrrgh...i can't seem to replicate on the new app. i'll have to work on this tomorrow as i need to get the other apps going. sorry.

one thing to note, the issue doesn't occur until the listview populates for the second time and beyond.

i used $lvwQS.Items.Clear() to clear out the existing items.
