I am very pleased to announce the launch of the KiXforms Wiki:

http://www.kixforms.org/wiki/doku.php

The purpose of this Wiki is to enable anyone to share their knowledge and experience of KiXforms with other users. Hopefully this will become a content rich archive of all things KiXforms, however it is also a proof of concept so please bear in mind that it may be removed in the event of lack of content contribution. Apart from a clear division between KiXforms Classic and .NET, the Wiki framework has been deliberately left open to others to create.

Please feel free to use this "announcement" topic to discuss the Wiki further. If it proves to be a popular resource then I will take the time to further develop the functionality and templating so that it more closely matches the current KiXforms "branding", plus I will add a link to the main site floating menu.

Now it is over to you Smile

Enjoy,

Rod.

Cool! Cool

I've just played around a little in the Playground hehe:
http://www.kixforms.org/wiki/doku.php?id=playground:playground

The Docuwiki uses GeSHi syntax highlighting which is really slick. There's no Language File for KiX yet, but there is one for AutoIT which is quite similar Smile

We should probably start by doing templates for different things like documenting and sampling stuff.

Really nice!

This got me interested hehe Very Happy, so I'm already done with the KiXtart Language file, and almost done with the KiXforms.NET/KiX combo too, need Shawn's help for a few things though (please contact me).

Would be nice to be able to test these, can you perhaps setup and FTP account Rod?

Rod,
Can we get a link to the Wiki on the forums main page? Maybe in the Quick Links box?

If the Wiki proves successful then it will be fully integrated into the rest of the site. TBH I do not want to expend too much effort up front if it is not used. As for the language file, e-mail it over and I will publish. FTP access may be possible in the future, but not right now.

Rod.

Alrighty, I'll e-mail you the language file.

btw; think we're gonna need a plug-in that really should be available in the default install; pagemove. Without it, it's impossible to move pages without shell access if you created a page in the wrong namespace.

Another one which you could think of for the future is discussion add a comments section to Wiki pages.
