I have a form, in that form I have a panel, in that panel I have a label.

No problem so far....

But now I want to attach a picture box to the label. Do I need to redesign my form to allow room for the picture box, or can I place it on top of the label, or can I put as an object in the label.

Thanks, and I know I am nuts, my wife tells me daily. Very Happy

nope, your not nuts - I've put objects in lables too - just use the label Controls collection to add an object - even though the Label is not a full fledged "Container" object - doesn't matter.

And one more thing - this is where the "Panel" control really shines - its great for "combining" two objects into one - just wrap the whole thing up in a panel (for example, a Label to the left and a Button to the right) ... done this many times to create those "Header Labels" you see at the top of dockable windows inside a form - you know - where you can click an "x" button to hide the sub-window.

That is cool, never though of doing it that way... May have to play with it.

Well I am up to 400 lines of code and it doesn't include the forms, all setup so far.

Soon I get to start the real coding and make it do something.
