Been doing some work on making (some) kf.classic controls support transparency ... just finished the Label control - going to start working on the ToolButton control - want to get this build released to see if anybody has any legacy issues with Labels ... If you can check-out your Labels and advise whether all looks good - would appreciate.
Here is a funny little script using a transparent label - requires the latest Development Build found here.

Looks good regarding legacy labels.
Newly added features confirmed to work with W2K Prof SP4
I suspect it to fail on NT4 machines though

oh yeah...
This is a wonderful day... and everything around fading into transparency. You could almost see through every shape around... Lets Shawn makes you invisible!
Confirmed! Toolbutton transparency.
Env. W2K Pro Sp4 and XP Pro Sp2.
KF DevBuild 2.46.42.0
HotForeColor, HotBackColor, FlatStyle and Image works fine!

Shawn,
I am maybe about to discover a problem with the new build.
I worked out v. 1.02 of Kixtris.
The only changes I made are the bg bitmap as base64 string, and I introduced a panel holding the image and child controls (it was written before the last build).
After playing a while (around 2 levels in intermediate) the left arrow key seems to hang(not on my keyboard) and the bricks are constantly 'drifting' to the left
This problem may be caused by different things:
-> The new kmv switch I attached to my 3 machines at office is a bitch and puzzles the keyboard input. (faced already some problems with backspace on ultraedit)
-> .KeyPreview has an Issue with kb buffer on certain circumstances and hangs
-> I coded bullshit into a working script
First I will test it on my Notebook this evening... if it is the same there, I will write some debugging for it and post again

It’s working great for me. So far so good...
However the transparency support for controls gives such a opportunity...
So I rebuild my entire work ... but its some kind of big 8000+ project, so I need more time...
I will post a screen shut of a demo on kf board asap... have to do some changes first... the project is to much customized for the enterprise...
Get back asap.

Well Shawn,
the problem I spotted was indeed related to my bitchy local kvm-switch (3 boxes, 2 TFT) at work.
So, no problems to be reported from my side

Not so fast my dear Shawn.
I think I found another one that seems not to be expected behaviour:
Now all my scripts where I set .Location of the form ($system.Form()) before .Show appears to be sticky!! to the top left corner of my desktop (0,0) even the location gets written after closing the form (yes it writes 0,0 back to my ini /registry locations)
Only seen on my Notebook yet (XP SP2, latest dev build kf, scripts tokenized)
Will report back when it seems to be related to you (... and not to my scripting )
