well, the Kixforms.Net documentation is identical (in structure) to the MSDN .Net documentation ... just thats there is a ton more of it.

I hate to drag this up again, but I am still having a problem getting the item index # assigned to an array.

here is the relevant code

Code:
Function ListViewSelectedIndexChanged()

 $ = $ListView1.SelectedItems.Item(0)
  CLS
  ? @Error + " " + @Serror
  ? "Return from form = " + $ListView1.SelectedItems.Item(0)
  ? "Icon Choice = " + $

 $Name[$c,6] = $

EndFunction

Here is what I am getting from the ?
Code:
0
Return from form = Kixforms_System.ListViewItem
Icon Choice = Kixforms_System.ListViewItem

I know it has got to be a typo, but I just dont see it.

The $listview1.selecteditems.item(), should be a global by definition correct, I don't need to pass that as part of the function call do I?

This tracer here:

Icon Choice = Kixforms_System.ListViewItem

Is telling you that the variable $ is pointing to a ListViewItem object. Now, what property of the ListViewItem are you looking to get at ?

Ok, so now I know that originally I was referencing just the indexed location. Not asking for what value (.text .index ....) from the object.

So I added the .index to the end of the line and it is now returning the index value.

Now I get to figure out how to remove items from the collection, but it looked fairly straight forward.. $listview1.items.remove($)
