Can we use old code in the new designer?

The script that I am currently working on was originally done with KixForms Designer, and I had assumed I could just open it in .Net Designer.

It acts if it is going to open, but nothing shows up.

Or maybe it is just me....

Howdy,
Sorry, although the old and new share the similar names they were not written to be compatible. Many things about the coding of kf2 and kf.net are similar but are not compatible.

Well since I am still in the very (very) early stages, maybe I will try to learn .Net then.

I am not a programmer by any means, but hope that the development of my newest script I will be able to do better.

Any suggested (light) reading to get up to speed?

As you prolly already know, KiXforms.NET Help is distributed with the .msi found under Start>Programs>KiXforms.Net>Documentation, this will help with the properties, methods, events and stuff, not much as far as examples at least as of yet, Shawn has posted a few example that might help, and as you have already been using KFD, it should help with the basics of form construction. If there is something you need help with please ask we will do the best we can to help and get you going.
