I've been asked by some co-workers of mine, and by a email or two, whether we could "go back" to the older style of CHM file (the one that is shipped with the current gold release) - the one that has all the properties listed with all the objects. A short while ago, I flipped back to a format from way back, where all the properties are listed seperately from the object.

Just to close this issue, thought I would post a "poll" to ask the people that really count (the members here), which format they prefer.

From my stand-point, both CHM's are pretty much up to the same level of information - just need to decide which format we're going to use.

Here are links to the CHM files for your editification.

I'd like to see a mixed form as it is partly by now.
Means a list of objects with all applicable properties/methods/events for the object PLUS all the properties/mehtods/events listed seperatly.

This would mean double effort for you though Embarassed
...And no vote from me as long as 'both' isn't in the poll Razz

i know what you mean. Bascially the "props with objects" style only has one major "topic" - the Objects topic. The other style has seperate topics for Objects, Properties and Methods (and Events).

I have found pros and cons with both styles. Wish I had some form of automated way of generating the CHM file, as it is - its a total hand-job. Might look into finding some kind of tool for this - maybe visual studio has something.

I think we could survive ether way, but have to admit that having the object with, it is much easier for you to jump back and forth form one object to another.

my vote is for the old style.
