I'm posting here because I can't post on the Announcements Forum.

For my purposes, I liked the old style better. It was easier to find the documentation when I hadn't drilled down through it.

tbh - I think new folks would find the old style (the one I just re-adopted) easier to understand. For the old-kixfarts - the new style was more dot-net-like. But then, the old farts probably dont need the docs anyways.

The one complaint I saw was that the "inherited" properties of the base control object wasn't that "obvious" ... anyways, its easier for me to update and thats a good thing too.

oh yeah, the other thing is ... this re-adopted style is "flatter" ... the older style was "wider" ... because it's "flat", one can easily see ALL the properties and methods and events in one list. This is important - especially when one is using "expando-properties" and you dont want any name collisions. This is one of the benefits.
