Many thanx for taking the time my dear Shawn.
Will try to get this tested over the weekend.
Happy 2K5 to you and the family! _________________ Jochen

Shawn,
this works as propagated; It saves an object and all it's child objects as bitmap, exactly what I wanted it to do
One minor weakness it has for now is that it can only save what is also visible to the user, but that is something I can live with for this project.
Maybe to keep in mind for later improvement _________________ Jochen

Thats actually kinda tough to do (saving the entire bitmap), because normally the portion of the bitmap that is hidden would be "clipped" away and not accessible - what one would normally do (afaik) is to for example, create a large Panel with the entire bitmap, inside a form, and only show a portion of the panel, and use Scrollbars to allow the user to see the entire bitmap. |

Yeah,
must be doable though, as it works in things like mspaint as well (saving non-visible areas)
But, I say it again, there are really no hurries with that method.
Works for me as it is now, thanx again
