Happened that I was working with Kfrm Designer -wich is very confortable- with a big GroupBox full of objects and other GroupBoxes in it and when I was trying to edit the hole GroupBox I pressed "Erase" with no undo possibility, and kinda didint like it for not to say I spoke to all the angels.
It youd be less dangerous and not to messy to put the "Add to Frame" in the middle of "Propeties" and "Erase" taking into account that there is no undo. Putting a dash woudnt be bad too.
Thanks.

Jose,

Sorry for the frustration. The latest version of the Designer is being released later today and it's too late to put that in. That's certainly something we can start accounting for in the next release, though.

Thank you very much for the answer Stevie (not Stivie Surprised oops!!).

BTW..........There is a problem in the way the .kix is compiled FE:
Sometimes the order of the objects placed in the script is not necesarily the order of the real nested objects, when the nested is above the script fails FE:
Code:

Break On
;********* FORM CREATE BEGIN **********
$Form = CreateObject('Kixtart.Form')
$Form.BackColor = 212,208,200
$Form.ForeColor = 0,0,0
$Form.Left = 45
$Form.Top = 16
$Form.Height = 200
$Form.Width = 274
$Form.FontBold = "False"
$Form.FontItalic = "False"
$Form.FontUnderline = "False"
$Form.FontName = "Microsoft Sans Serif"
$Form.FontSize = 8.25
$Form.Text = "KiXforms Designer Template"
$Form.FormBorderStyle = 4
;********* FORM CREATE END **********

;************* LABEL1 **************
$Label1 = $GroupBox2.Label
$Label1.BackColor = 212,208,200
$Label1.ForeColor = 0,0,0
$Label1.Left = 60
$Label1.Top = 40
$Label1.Height = 23
$Label1.Width = 100
$Label1.FontBold = "False"
$Label1.FontItalic = "False"
$Label1.FontUnderline = "False"
$Label1.FontName = "Microsoft Sans Serif"
$Label1.FontSize = 8.25
$Label1.Text = "Label1"
;*************************************

;************* GROUPBOX2 **************
$GroupBox2 = $Form.GroupBox
$GroupBox2.BackColor = 212,208,200
$GroupBox2.ForeColor = 0,0,0
$GroupBox2.Left = 30
$GroupBox2.Top = 30
$GroupBox2.Height = 100
$GroupBox2.Width = 200
$GroupBox2.FontBold = "False"
$GroupBox2.FontItalic = "False"
$GroupBox2.FontUnderline = "False"
$GroupBox2.FontName = "Microsoft Sans Serif"
$GroupBox2.FontSize = 8.25
$GroupBox2.Text = "GroupBox2"
;*************************************
$Form.Show
While $Form.Visible
  $=Execute($Form.DoEvents())
Loop
Exit 1

I think this happends randomly cause I dont remember of doing something different when this happends.
Keep it up Stevie that the designer is going very well. Congrats. Very Happy

I have not seen this happen yet.

These controls should always be written to the script in order of creation. You must create a container control, say a GroupBox, before you can put controls on it.

The only time I can think that this might happen is if a control is deleted, this might cause a shuffling of the creation order--don't know. If you can come up with a way to reproduce this I'd be most interested.

Also, if anyone else has seen this problem I'd like to hear about it. Thanks.

Cannot reproduce it Stevie but I am sure you are right and might have happened due to erasing objects, I have erased and renamed objects with the same name, you can search there.
This might alter some counter or somethign that might not be getting back to original count after erasing (just guessing from the distance).

If it happends again i try to remember where it came from.
Thanks.
